PC Workshop, Inc. was created by a group of parents in 1978 in Paulding County who decided they wanted more for their children. Together, they founded PC Workshop, Inc. which was then a part of the County Board of Developmental Disabilities. In 2016, PC Workshop, Inc. privatized, which led to diversified services and accepting additional counties into our network. PC now serves Paulding, Defiance, Van Wert, Putnam, Henry and Williams counties. The clients at PC Workshop, Inc. are still supported by county funds base on where they live, but PC Workshop, Inc. salaries are not. PC is funded by business contracts, Ohio Medicaid funds and donations.
More About Us -
PC Workshop is a movement based out of necessity. For too long, we have been bound by other people's limits and expectations of our abilities. PC Workshop, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit serving people with disabilities to embrace their limitless potential through work training, fine motor development and more. One of the many ways we do this is through our stores. We buy trucks of Items from your favorite big name retailers and can offer them at about half the price!
Now, getting a paycheck for something we LOVE instead of what is forced upon us is a reality!!! Our clients sort items, price them, display them, create artwork, learn to use the register, and get to offer something incredible to their own community. We are based in Paulding, but we have stores in Paulding and Defiance. We are proud to serve Defiance, Williams, Putnam, Henry, and Van Wert county. We are committed to our people, ourselves and our communities. We also offer group employment options to further reach into the community.
